Marsden has increased a recent spike in break and enters and stealing from premises or vehicles over the past few weeks.

To assist QPS we HIGHLY recommend that you:

* Secure all doors and windows when not home - don't leave windows ajar for your family who may have forgotten their keys.

* Even when home keeps doors locked and windows without security grills closed or use window locks.

* Keep sheds and garages locked.

* Keep your vehicles locked and don't leave valuables in the vehicle.

* Remove the temptation and don't leave valuables or easy to take items where criminals can enter your yard and take them.

Report ANY suspicious activity to PoliceLink on 13 1444 or if a crime in progress call 000.

If something happens near you, the VIP's will leave a note in your letterbox - please read the information.

Welcome back for another great year for Marsden NHW.

The AGM was held on Monday 22nd August with  a good attendance.

The Area Coordinator position was returned to Mel J unopposed.

The Secretary position was returned to Chris H unopposed.

The Treasury position was a close vote with Errolyn M returned to the committee after a brief "holiday".

Our next event will be our Community Meeting on the 17th October.
